Mosaz (Zijun Zhao) is a New York based artist whose work has been exhibited internationally, including at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, Palazzo Bembo in Venice, CICA Museum in South Korea, and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan. Recognized with awards such as the International Prize Leonardo da Vinci and Premio Firenze XLI Edizione, her work has also been featured in Art Maze Mag, BOOOOOOOM, The Woven Tale Press, and AI-Tiba9 Art Magazine, among others.
Mosaz' s art explores the collision and fusion between traditional culture and the personal spiritual world through delicate lines and symbolic imagery, showcasing the flow of memory, emotion, and consciousness. She explores the relationship between life and death in Asian culture. Starting with extremely complex lines and simple, pure perspectives, she weaves a large number of personal emotions and interpretative elements into her work. These form small visual units that, while thematically coherent, reflect the chaotic nature of her mind—each composed of solid lines yet carrying flowing emotions. The result is an expressive language marked by sharp internal conflicts that still flow like water.
